We set out to create a clear, approachable way to explain how Sasol’s chemical plants operate—using visuals and language simple enough for a third grader to understand, without losing technical accuracy. To achieve that clarity, we first immersed ourselves in the complexity of the system by researching the company, reviewing past videos, and digging into detailed technical documentation.

By deeply understanding the process, we were able to distill complex terminology and operations into concise, easy-to-follow graphics and storytelling. Today, this video lives in the Sasol building lobby, educating new business partners, potential hires, and visitors on the intricate—yet undeniably fascinating—world of chemical manufacturing.
